RACE INFORMATION

Race Date:

  • Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at 8:00 AM

Location:

Registration:

  • Registration is from 7:00AM to 7:45AM at the Pioneer Park Bandshell Stage; Race start time is 8:00; Kid's race starts 7:45

  • $25 per person - adults 15 yrs and older
    $15 per person - children 14 yrs and younger
    $20 Per person - NU and BR students
    All Entrants receive a Batwa Challenge Tote Bag or Kellermann white hat (while supplies last)

  • Registration closes at 7:55 to give racers time to get to the start line at the far end of the park by 8:00

Course Information:

  • The 5 and 10K races both start on the grass on the far side of the park

  • A course map is available on website

  • 5K is an out and back, the walk and 10K are a loop

Rules of the Road:

  • We will be sharing the road in a few places so please watch for cars. The course is marked with chalk, cones and buckets...watch for them!

  • Strollers are allowed on the 5K course but no dogs please (for the animal's and runner's safety)

  • Walkers and slower runners please watch for faster runners to pass as needed

Restroom Facilities:

  • There are bathrooms at the tennis courts, next to the baseball diamond and at the back of the bandshell stage

First Aid:

  • First Aid provisions will be available at the race by having a doctor present as well as necessary supplies

Refreshments following the race:

  • Refreshments (water, fruit, muffins and bagels) will be provided at the bandshell following the race

Results:

  • Results will be announced as soon as possible (please be patient). The final results will be posted to the Batwa Challenge site, www.batwachallenge.com, that day or the next following the race.

  • Awards ceremony will follow the race at the bandshell - we invite everyone to stay to congratulate all our runners.

Race Photos:

  • Race photos will be posted to the Batwa Challenge site, www.batwachallenge.com, within a few days following the race
